Louie Mantia, Jr.I think it’s crazy that Alan Dye had no experience with UI design before being thrust into a position of power over platform design, affecting millions of apps at a global scale. He has a responsibility to the industry. Platform design should be way more comprehensive and far less restrictive than this.

found something interesting earlier, AVFoundation apparently has a performance hud: preferences are equivalent to `defaults write com.apple.avfoundation.videoperformancehud enable -int 1` and `defaults write com.apple.avfoundation.videoperformancehud fontsize -int 50`
