One of the great things about donating blood regularly (as a platelet donor, every two weeks) is the people you meet. Tadashi Okuno is a new Stanford Blood Center friend who recently reached his 200th donation. I love welcoming him to the 200+ club! https://stanfordbloodcenter.org/paying-it-forward-tadashi-okunos-200-blood-donations-and-counting/

For those who have never experienced it, the Federated Timeline is … quite a thing.

I turned on "Slow Mode" in settings, which stops it from automatically adding new posts to the top, instead showing the count of unseen posts.

It's still a bit overwhelming.

I just learned that a friend of nearly 50 years died suddenly a week before Halloween. My learning about it just tonight it's a function of my having abandoned Facebook a year or two ago. Peace be to his family and the many friends he made over the decades with his open heart and amazing spirit.
