@lawik watching right now, this is really cool
@lawik Nerves is good for hardware toys. You can play with evision on a big computer. With nerves is more fun to connect some wires. Example: everything that has i2c should work and if it's not out of the box and if not it's even better because you can make the library for it.

Nerves Livebook v0.8.0 is out and it pulls in the great updates to Livebook from a couple weeks ago. On the Nerves side, the new release reduces logger noise in notebooks, enables the shutdown button and gracefully powers off, and pulls in lots of updates from Nerves libraries.

I recently spoke about @NervesProject with Joe Martin on the Elixir Wizards Podcast. This one was different from other Elixir podcasts I've been on, since Joe is an embedded developer and not an Elixir or Nerves one (yet). I think it gives a different perspective on Nerves that I hope will be helpful. #MyElixirStatus https://smr.tl/3iMmKWq
Frank Hunleth and Joe Martin on the Particulars of Nerves

Today on Elixir Wizards, we speak with two great minds in the Elixir community: Frank Hunleth from SmartRent and Joe Martin from Company Six. Join us to parse the particulars of Nerves, from production and terminology, to stacks, customization, and how they function.
