Since I’m getting back into #AuthorLife after being incógnitas for about 6 years. Goodness, but I’m coming back to it, and one of the first things I’m going to accomplish is releasing the paperback version of Murderous Profession, which was released in August 2019. Better late than never. I got proofs from the printer, and other than a couple of tweaks, it will be good to go and available for purchase on my website. It’ll have a matte cover bc I like the feel and look of it.

Somewhere along the way, I made the decision to make my MC come from a big Italian-American family. This has resulted in a document that has all of her siblings and their kids listed out with ages, so I wouldn't forget their names and whose kid goes with who.
When you're so used to writing F/F parings that when your MC's love interest is masculine aligned and uses he/him pronouns, you're always accidentally typing out her and then deleting it to put him.
It makes editing a lot longer than it needs to be lol
I joined Threads and re-signed back up for Instagram because that's where the people are, but goodness fcking cripes. It's a reminder of why I got rid of corporate social media (other than Tumblr) accounts. Thank goodness they're just for my author persona.
If I was still looking at that crap every day, my depression would have never gone into remission (that's the word my doctor, psychiatrist, and therapist have all used).
