I'm 71. I believe that I will outlive the Federal Government of the United States.

@RickiTarr

Wait…what?

There's a 6 o'clock in the morning too?

Wanted to share a bit of local history...

Check out where normally the italics would read 'loving mother' or some such..

Democracy Rule of 80:
Every 80 years without fail America has had to overcome authoritarianism. In the 1780’s it was a monarchy. In the 1860’s it was insurrectionists trying to establish a slave-based empire in the Americas. In the 1940’s it was global fascists with supporters on our own shores. And in the 2020’s it is a global push for authoritarianism. Why 80 years? Maybe because most who witnessed and stopped it the last time have passed. Now it’s our turn to save and renew Democracy.

3.5% is all we need for change?

DDG tells me 3.5% of the world pop, at 8.1 billion, is 283,500,000.

USA is at 339,996,563. let's say a horde of carnales rounds it at 340,000,000. 3.5% = 11,900,000.

Biden got 80M votes in 2020. do you understand why voting is not all?!?

it takes 3.5% and courage.

FYI: it took 1M Puerto Ricans (tot: 3.3M) to paralyze La Isla for 3 weeks to oust the governor

The science of protests: how to shape public opinion and swing votes

Demonstrations are on the rise, and scientists are revealing which types work best.

Know what would destroy the Roberts Court faster than anything? A Judges' Revolt.

If I were a federal judge, I'd decline to honor any of the controversial Roberts Court decisions. I'd openly say, "that decision is not good law because the Court as currently constituted is corrupt and illegitimate, and to follow its decrees would be to violate my oath to the Constitution."

Impeach me. Do it. See if you can get the Senate votes. Otherwise, I'm appointed for life. Now imagine if dozens of federal judges, trial and appellate, did the same thing.

Yes, I am a lawyer. Yes, I am serious.
