@Techaltar my M1 8GB MacBook air was absolutely fine unless I was running a second display, being unified it ate into my available ram and noticed slowdown when doing anything intensive.
Saying that using it just as a laptop it could handle almost anything I threw at it.

@Techaltar for sure, benchmarks on battery doing day to day tasks vs similarly priced arm chips (and older x86) would be interesting
LocalSend is my go to, open source and platform agnostic. Not missed a beat for small to medium files. Larger ones have had issues.
Cheers & makes sense. Once glasses can operate fully without the need to be paired to a phone (and the battery is decent) I can imagine people leaving the house without a phone.
