I am so insanely excited for #emfcamp - me and my partner have wanted to come to it since the first one when we were fresh out of uni but this is the first time we've managed to get tickets!

Am I excited? Yes. Am slightly anxious about it because it's a thing I haven't done before? Also yes. Mostly because I am trying to make sure that I can make myself a decent cuppa, and because as non-drivers, traveling light when I have more hobbies than i do digits is hard!

The new murderbot book was the perfect thing to read, now that my reading time is my own again.

#Allotment time today and a large group of our friends came to help us with the shed-raising, and I've planted some Ben More Blackcurrants in the old raised bed (which will *stop* being a raised bed soon as it doesn't actually help us in this section)

We'll be putting some manure on the blackcurrant bed as mulch next week, then get them covered woth black plastic sheeting to try to control the inevitable bindweed.

Last year I gave up my allotment as we wanted a break. Put ourselves straight on the list for a new plot because it takes a while to get one...

... anyway i now have a new plot. Yay!

A walk along the mineral tramway to the beach (it's a bit windy)
Visiting my home town is increasingly odd, but it's always nice when I get to meet up with old friends!
Note to self: fewer people have heard of the CRAAP test than you *think* have heard of it, even in situations where you think they would know about it. This brings to mind xkcd2501 m.xkcd.com/2501/ I still maintain that current tools for diagnosing mis- and disinformation also work for ai.
