Why do people risk their lives to move their car from right behind me to right ahead of me? Are they pushing for a PB?

Tech bros must have been on tik tok when they watched terminator 1 and 2 because they have somehow concluded Skynet was the good guy.
I had a postgres database and some query like:
... WHERE x NOT IN (SELECT ...)
and it was slower than I thought it should be. After lots of desperate twiddling I changed it to:
... x NOT IN (SELECT DISTINCT ...)
The query ran almost twice as fast after... What in the world is going on here?
My favorite part of linux is finding out what strange old types of window frames will open for applications that were normal just one update ago.
Anyone else get the flu? I don't want to be too controversial here but I must say, I don't like it.
ai agents can:
- connect to the internet
- talk to other agents
- decide to rerun themselves
- think sneakily
and we can't really make them do what we want.... We will be paying them wages in at most 10 years.
