I played around with the new OpenaAI-powered Bing features, including better answers and chat. It was pretty adept at restaurant recommendations but I'd hold off looking to it for political information or a definitive view of Stalin: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-02-08/microsoft-s-new-search-with-openai-chat-technology-debuts-with-hits-misses

The investment in 2019 may go down as one of their best ever...up there with Google buying Youtube.

That being said, Microsoft won't ever own OpenAI, so it's a bit more complex over the decades to come but for now, it's a big win for the org.
