And on topic of pseudoarcheology, this book by
Sean Rafferty, "MISANTHROPOLOGY: Science, Pseudoscience, and the Study of Humanity" was recently published and it's one great takedowns of the pseudoscience around anthropology. I just finished it recently & can't recommend it enough.
I've just arrived to archaeo.social so I thought I would do an intro: I'm a contemporary art writer, critic & curator, working on the intersection between archaeology, heritage and contemporary art. I've recently curated the first contemporary art exhibition at an archaeological museum in Turkey, at Sadberk Hanim Museum, and pursuing my work on the relationship between archaeological time, contemporary art and art films in Turkey and Lebanon.
