Hey, I made a video about my AT&T Sceptre terminal, but don’t worry if you don’t know what that is because I cover a bit about #videotex and #NAPLPS in the beginning before inspecting the unit, getting it working, and sharing my basic server application and demo line so you other NAPLPS-compatible-terminal-owners can call-in!

Had a great time at @jawncon, it was wonderful seeing everyone!
Here are some pictures of our booth with contributions from @dialupworld and others. By day 2 there were 9 working payphones, 2 working video phones, a handful of rotary and touchstone tabletop phones, 2 TDDs, the AT&T Sceptre, a WebTV, a Toughbook with a Courier modem, a DisplayPhone, and a UHF repeater with autopatch to take calls over ham radio!
JawnCon starts tomorrow October 10th and we will be working with @philtel to showcase dial-up Internet access via a WebTV and an era-appropriate computer in the chill-out room!

In the spirit of mutual benefit, there is now a small dialup.world section in the PhilTel discord for discussion around current dialup isp and videotex work (with more channels to come in the future). You may have to put up with some payphone/telco nerds :P

Our simple #NAPLPS server code is now out! Run your own server to send graphics to your terminal or try our experimental demo line (that sometimes even works) if you want to hook your compatible terminals up to some phone equipment!
Tested with an AT&T Sceptre but would love to know if anyone has other equipment to test with!
