12 years ago today was the last time I ever saw my father alive

Tonight, after a lengthy evaluation period, I was diagnosed as autistic. This is not a surprise, but it’s a weird feeling to suddenly have answers to life-long questions. Weird but good. A lot of anger I’ve long harbored toward my childhood self, especially, has dissipated and been replaced with sorrow over things I experienced. This is a positive change.
This diagnosis also overturns my older diagnosis of ASPD
And now I can get some needed accommodations at school and possibly even at work!
