In somewhat related news to my last post thinking about the Maker movement, my BF, some friends and I went to Ingenuity Fest last night, a really cool art and technology fare in Cleveland that is keeping the best parts of the Maker movement alive in a cool, sort of underground way.

Lots of the art was really incredible, both the pieces on display and those sold by the venders. I bought some really beautiful plant hangers made from ceramics and yarn, Peake got a lithograph print, and one of my other friends bought some rings. I also took a bunch of cool photos of Peake there

Working on something

Got the new revision of my board for my master's thesis. It's the third hardware revision.
It's got more filters on the output including some neat 0805 feedthrough caps and spots for custom RF shields.
Hopefully it will be the last revision needed and solve the interference issues with the MRI imaging.

It was also a good excuse to add the little PCB logo I commissioned from spookyfox

I found a funny thing. Going to try to get the right adapters to get this going on a modern system, it used DB25 for serial which is a bit of a pain because I have USB to DB9 but not USB to DB25
Degree obtained

Finally getting around to giving the awesome Marathon Computer rack mount G3 that @sharewarewolf gave to me some of the love it deserves.
Installing OS X server on it and going to try to get some vintage networking stuff going.
It took so long because I've been way too busy with school this semester.

(And I had issues with the original power supply so decided to buy a replacement, and I had to buy blank CDs because I left all my old ones at my parents place, and of course I needed a drive to boot it from)

Will probably give it all a write up on my blog once I get everything the way I want it

A collection of photos from the vintage tech meet at Fur the More this year, shot with a Panasonic SD4090 Super Floppy camera
Went on a walk today and took some macro photography.
