I was just reading this news. I had heard of his diagnosis & was hoping for recovery. RIP.

My diagnosis (stage 3B) came April 2023. I got off easy. One big surgery, cancer gone. Monitoring now rest of my life. For me, the new 50 should have been 35. Getting screened for colorectal cancer is relatively painless, and quality of life remains intact if caught early. Get screened everybody!

For the record, this does not need to be a binary situation. Exploring both sides will expose ideas that might not have been obvious early. You can pick & choose the ideas that work for you. Ultimately this renders the question moot.

Ultimately I will be in denial sometimes. There is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes I find I am not in denial, and that scares me. I am, for better or worse, human. This question is part of being human, like so many others.

Ship 36 was on a static fire stand & was being loaded with propellants for the test when a massive explosion occurred, plus a secondary explosion from the looks of it. The test site was undoubtedly heavily damaged.
