And finally, a picture of myself headed to the leather social at the Manchester Eagle last Saturday night. Part of me feels ambivalent about this - I think I look good, but I'm probably sending wrong or confusing signals as a sub. The wallet chain is on my left because I'm left handed, not because I'm a top; the Muir cap is there because I think it looks good, not because I'm a Sir. And the light blue hanky in my back right pocket, alas, no one noticed.

Although I've attended a few cigar socials since moving to Palm Springs, I haven't smoked a cigar since 1994. (Heck, I've only smoked a pipe in public twice, come to think of it.) This last weekend in Manchester, I attended a cigar social and actually smoked one. Sadly, there aren't any pictures of that - so here's a picture of me accepting a fellow Dad's invitation to have one of his cigars instead!

Attended my first BLUF social last weekend here in Palm Springs - a fine group of folks for sure. And man, Chris (@ the Tool Shed) makes a mean Old Fashioned... such a pleasure having a proper cocktail instead of YADDA (yet another domestic draft ale).
