Found an old Canoscan8800F at work in the waste room. Took it to my desk and installed the drivers. No scans! So I popped it open and the scan head's ribbom cable was trapped behind the support for the glassbed. Cleaned the glass and reinstalled the glassbed and it started scanning. Hoping to adopt it from work cause the scans look great! #ewaste #recycle
