They clearly don't believe that change will in any way destroy them, just as Reddit's API move did not destroy Reddit. I am sorry for being cynical, but the reality is people don't care.

Same here, on old.reddit only, with adblocker enabled of course. On my phone I will not go to reddit at all.

So Reddit are really embracing the Elon's approach to PR, perhaps they have forgotten they haven't had their IPO yet.
