What is truly awful is that the Trump folks can’t bring themselves to offer condolences and Trump went golfing instead.

Flight validation testing today with the restube water rescue system. It allows us to use the drone (spotlight, thermal) for searches over water and then if needed drop a flotation aid to someone in the water.

The restube will automatically inflate once it hits the water.

Peace on earth sounds like a really good idea right about now. People are sometimes awesome, and they hold the light in the dark times.

The ability for humans to be cruel to each other seems unquenchable sometimes.

My kid’s 10th b-day party was tonight. They were flying Tello and Spark drones earlier in the evening. Now I’ve got a herd of 9 and 10 y/o girls watching movies and having a blast.

It’s kind of a great age really. Their energy is very fun.

Did some more drone work today. This is Deception Pass in WA. I got a thermal view of a tugboat in Anacortes.

The only way to get good at this stuff is to practice. Gotta fly!
