@hyuki composed from haiku

a pretty young girl
Emily Bett Rickards
with a button nose

a barrette holding
her messy wavy blonde hair
ringlets frame her face

a quiet study
green plants on the windowsill
rays of morning light

she smiles softly
under black oval glasses
reading peacefully

a white peasant blouse
sleeves rolled up to her elbows
a pencil in hand

@hyuki This is great. I tried recreating it in Stable Diffusion with the following prompt:

a pretty Emily Bett Rickards
with messy wavy blonde hair that frames her face in ringlets
and is pinned up with a hairclip
is sitting in a study.
a window behind her lets in light,
she wears black oval glasses
and has a small smile on her face.
she's wearing a white peasants blouse
and (looking down at a book:1.2)
with a pencil held absentmindedly in her hand

@noodlemaz @milesorchard I've got to say, that's quite the double standard you've got there. Did he claim to not use AI? Did he claim to put oil to canvas? Did he say he "painted a thing"?

I'm not going to lie, the means are different for creating AI artwork and physical, or even digital artwork. But there are means, and the results speak for themselves.

@noodlemaz @milesorchard Manipulate them into what? It's easy to forget that the last movie you watched used CGI. Where have the torches and pitchforks been over that?
@absolutejank There was a time when I would lose track of where I was in a series. I started using Plex to help out with that.
@absolutejank Why would you watch something you don't want to watch? It's perfectly ok to just kind of ghost a series if you're not feeling it.

I've been wondering about the impact of prompt syntax on model generation. Does a comma have a tangible effect? Does repeating the same word have a...
