I had an amazing time at the Kinsale Beatles Festival with the best people. To be in Beatles Brain of Kinsale team was fantastic 😅. Here I am with Freda Kelly, and the lads from @NothingIsReal including @Doctor_J_ and Mark Lewisohn. Fantastic discussions and music on all Fab issues. Kinsale was beautiful and I'll be back next year.

Saw Macca today in Liverpool. It was surreal. He was at LIPA and there were only a few of us there. My photos aren't great because I was a little thrown.

Finished the second volume of The McCartney Legacy - nice to get a book that goes into detail on the second half of Paul McCartney’s 1970s. Obviously I’m vexed and how long it will take to get Volume Three. Among the many things I learned is that Paul’s step-mother, Angie McCartney, is still alive. 50 years ago, Paul did not want her to monetise the McCartney name, let’s see how that’s worked out…

@Doctor_J_ I always find it odd it's regarded as a Christmas song. Mainly because he mentions Christmas and there a christmassy vibe to it.

This Elemental version of the album is quite great. Especially You Are Here. The two big Beatle copycat moments on the album are funny: Sexy Sadie piano on Out The Blue and the I’ve Got A Feeling riff at the start of I Know (I Know).
