@sean Texas’ habit of partisan gerrymandering and legislating voter suppression tactics might be considered another form of divide and conquer. We are typically in the three lowest turnout states. The TXGOP has done an excellent job of disenfranchising folks. When SCOTUS gutted the VRA, TX repubs instated suppressive ID laws within 24 hours of the ruling.
