Before you can have surgery at Sparrow, two different phlebotomists need to independently draw your blood and confirm your blood type. There’s gotta be a story there, but don’t tell me until after the procedure. 😳

@DukeDuke If the house were any nicer, it would be worth a lot more. It’s also right next to the railroad tracks and a busy road, which lowers the property value even though they are blocked by woods and berm.
@RebeccaKopriva There were birds everywhere! It felt like we were in the middle of the woods but we were right near downtown. I could feel my stress draining away. I could happily live on the full length porch overlooking the river. It’s an older house, too, so I wonder if there’s some more charm hidden behind more recent renovations.

My apartment complex wants to increase my rent by $300 a month next year?!? I confirmed with the bank that I'll be able to buy a home, but this is just another example of how it's so expensive to be poor! A mortgage on a 4-bedroom house is less than rent on this 3-bed townhouse.
Tonsil stones are a mild but persistent annoyance. I'm very prone to them and apparently so is my youngest. Well, not the worst thing she could inherit from me.
