I'M COMPLETELY DEVASTATED BY THE FACT THAT 680 PEOPLE WERE CAPTURED BY ICE YESTERDAY AND THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF SCARED KIDS WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND THAT THERE ARE HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES IN DETENTION CENTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THIS WHOLE COUNTRY IS GARBAGE.

Yesterday I asked a friend how she liked her new boss. She replied that he was “Nice. Never really replies to my emails but at least he’s not a creep or anything.”

I wrote a brand new technical talk while on maternity leave. I made my examples code about the baby. And then I gave the talk with the baby in my arms for the entire talk. Definitely proved to myself that having a baby doesn’t diminish me in any ways, just makes me more fearless
