i really wish i could get one of these things (which are apparently called SPDT switches) hooked into a standard keyboard key switch. flip it on to hold the key down, flip it off to release.

i can't think of any practical uses for this, but i can think of MANY very silly ones.

obsessed with this nice little Feature I just noticed on my new robo vac. the dust compartment has this socket for holding a brush/thread cutter. this was my first time emptying it, so I hadn't even seen it before.

I hate when things come with stupid little specialized tools you're guaranteed to lose because there's nowhere to put them. so, having a dedicated slot to keep this tool right where you need it is delightful.

i use phanpy, so i had forgotten how baffling read more cutoffs on default mastodon are until i shared my bandcamp friday haul thread elsewhere.

just .... why??? why does put those first two posts behind a Read More when they're basically the same length as the 3rd one it shows in full? why does it put the read more cutoff after the first row of text, so you have no idea what you're clicking into? and why does it then cut off the bottom 20% of the first row???
