Former embedded engineer, now I take photos. Often of people being wonderful.

@b0rk Am going to investigate Heliix, defiantly. You've also previously mentioned Micro. How do you think it compares to that (which may be a complicated question, just which you prefer)
Why don't soldering iron stands say what size soldering iron they're for?
Boards have arrived
Not received the boards, yet (soon), but already I've noticed a mistake. I didn't specify the solder stencil size. The default is quite big, for my tiny board. Also a filial, to line the board up would have been a good idea.
I used to design PCBs (a long time ago) and found SMT more challenging, as all the pins are on one side. Even on a simple board, I needed a feed through to another layer, as some tracks were trapped. There was one track I'm still not happy with, as it has long tracks parallel on both layers.
The idea was for a small simple board, to learn SMT soldering, and where mistakes wouldn't matter.
Board was designed on KiCad. Manufactured by JLC PCB.
Ordered my first PCB design, today. I wonder what I've messed up?
@b0rk For ssh, I don't think of it as a wrapper, I think of it as a method of communication. To exit the communication link, I 'exit'. I think it feels different as you've noted for each type a method of quiting, but the 'exit' method isn't mentioned. So, that got me thinking, when is 'exit' used. Sorry for the rambling half completed thoughts.
@b0rk I'm wondering where the 'exit' of ssh fits into this?
