Tried my hand at fishing at Dwight D. Eisenhower park in Houston today. Started at there small lake there at the entrance, then moved to Big Eddy. Lots of action at Big Eddy, but nothing was biting. #angler #fishing #kastking #bassdash
Buttered Jorts@dbangler my favorite Walmart rod is the little Zebco Dock Demon. Reel is kinda junky, and the rod’s not a fantastic caster, but it’s solid fiberglass and holds up great in the trunk, and even the little guys are a fun fight on it.

Testing out some gear from #walmart . #abugarcia rod and reel. The rod is great. Medium. Nice action. Unfortunately, the reel 'Gen Ike EZ Cast' does not cast very well. I just cannot get any distance out of this reel at all. I like the design, but it lacks in the most important area, part of it's name.
Beautiful day of fishing at Kerkerillo-Mischer Preserve. The waters are supposed to have large mouth bass, spotted gar, blue gills, tilapia and channel cats. I saw 1 spotted gar, 2 snakes and a butt load of turtles. Nice big park though. #fishing #houston #angler
Looking forward to fishing again. The peace, the challenge, the satisfaction of reeling in a catch. Nothing like it in the world.
