It’s sad news to learn of Bryan Ansell’s passing today.
One is my projects for next year is Battle Masters, a game that I picked up alongside Warhammer Fantasy in the 90s, and one of the last projects Mr. Ansell worked on before leaving Games Workshop (he was already gone by the time the game released, in fact).
This Chaos Archer is the game’s take on the Chaos Thug, a unit choice that would be phased out before Warhammer Fantasy fifth edition. #warmongers #oldhammer

It warmed up enough that I could spray the chaos thugs from Battle Masters. I dug out some cards from the game for painting reference. I actually quite like the color scheme #warhammer
