@chris_spackman I’ve never heard of a computer science class spending that much time on any of those languages. At least not since the 2000s. My course is focused on C++ C Java, Python and so forth. There were mentions of other languages. I could see a history of computer science class talking about that.

@itsfoss it’s still being used. I actually used it last year just to mess around, but it’s pretty dead and it’s very clearly “unsafe” now. But #irc is still pretty active surprisingly. Not crazy busy though, since #freenode bit the bullet.

@mskoett My Thinkpads T14 , T15, and ones I’ve used in the past have all had diagnostic modes. My guess is having a network boot as priority over the SSD would mean it has to time out before failing and going to the next item of boot priority.

@inlovewithpda yep. Make sure you add in —allow-remove when you update gstreamer1. That was my headache.
