@caseyliss I’m sure you got tons of responses like these but…WLED + a matrix panel. Pretty cheap and there’s even better form factor boards now (Adafruit). Ignore how ugly it is at the moment, I haven’t had the time to finish it up properly

My specific setup replicates the colors of the mic/camera being on so my kids & wife know I’m in a meeting.
