@nullagent Khamanei’s emphatic reference to Jerusalem is unsurprising. Among both Christians & Muslims, the idea that redemption is at hand when something happens in Jerusalem - chosen by Jews as their sacred capital - means that while Abrahamism originated with the Jews, the founders of these later religions co-opted it to support the authenticity of their own belief systems. There are no native theological tenets for these later Messianic religions. That’s basically all this means.
