The people voted for a Federal ICAC with teeth. We're going to be working hard to deliver this!

This bill will be debated in the Reps starting today and we'll see if the Government has heard all the public concerns about the strict limits on public hearings, the lack of independence oversight and funding and more.

We still have big concerns about the stitch up on public hearings with the Coalition - doing deals with Dutton on integrity is a very concerning start to this process but there is still time for improvements to be made so we deliver what is needed.

Hopefully by the end of the week not only will the bill have passed both houses of Parliament, but we'll have made some changes to ensure we're starting with the best possible model.
