Eastern Spinebills are honeyeaters, but invertebrates also make up a big part of their diet. This one caught a (relatively) small cicada today.
I wondered why I couldn't see any parrots today, then I heard a distinctive chirping and looked up to see this pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles soaring high overhead.
