Coding with ChatGPT 2 : XKCD for government - Desiderium Sciendi - Medium

So, off the back of the success of my trivial but fun one day Android app build, I decided to launch into a more complicated coding project, cherry-picked from my long list of “to do one day” hobby…

Losing weight with ChatGPT : His master’s voice - Desiderium Sciendi - Medium

This is my weight since January 1st 2020. At the start, I hadn’t really done any proper exercise or maintained a decent diet for a long time. I’d previously had decently long periods where I’d either…

Hey everyone. Myself, Gavin Freeguard and Derek Alton are looking for a free / relatively cheap space near-ish to the Cabinet Office where we could host a series of talks about government transformation. If you know of any unheard of gems please let us know!
Huge props to Code for America for putting so much of their 2024 summit up on YouTube.

It's excellent to read in GDS's blog about their working with governments in other countries but why does this feel so sporadic and one-off? A blog post : https://medium.com/desiderium-sciendi/why-is-there-no-government-supported-international-public-service-wiki-or-online-chat-86e0de222cb3.
Why is there no government-supported international public service wiki or online chat?

As usual, I was impressed by this new blog post from GDS: From Whitechapel to the White House. They describe how representatives from that organisation were invited by the Office of Management and…

MHCLG standardising it's digital offer is great. I'm looking forward to seeing what form this takes : https://mhclgdigital.blog.gov.uk/2024/08/07/delivering-at-pace-introducing-common-tools-as-a-service. It really shouldn't be up to individual departments to do this though. It should be coordinated centrally by DSIT.

The MHCLG Digital blog is the place to find out about how we’re working, what we’re learning, and how you can get involved.

Great post from GDS about #ServicesWeek
