Due to your kindness and generosity, we received over $80,000 USD last month - the most donations we've ever received in a single month in our entire history!

Thank you, so much, for believing in our work and supporting us to provide free chess for everyone. ❤️

This all means that I have a record of technical progress alongside the creative results.
Similarly, I'm setting myself musical challenges for elements to include or technical tricks to learn, for future compositions.
For example, I've recently downloaded a good quality free orchestra plugin; so, the challenge is: Write An Orchestral Track.
So I'm learning something new and challenging myself to learn something further as each track is produced.
Wish me luck 🙂
For example, this might be:
- Worked Out A Good Way To Record Passable Vocals Using Just An iPhone
- Paying a lot of attention to getting EQ right
- Becoming more proficient at using Compression
- Using layered vocals
- Using vintage synth plugins
- Learning how to mix better
- Learning how to master the final result
When I've released music in the past few years, it's always fun to get feedback, but part of it is a technical learning process too.
I've always been reasonably good at writing songs and lyrics, plus I can play well enough to create what I want (singing is questionable, I know that!) but what I've been writing down is What I've Learned When Making This Track.
I Can Always Rely On You (To Let Me Down)

I've made a new song called "I Can Always Rely On You (To Let Me Down)" and it's got lots of '80s synths in it. (Yamaha DX7, Jupiter 8, Oberheim, Juno 60...) -- was a lot of fun to make.

We've just been watching #Knightmare. It might be old, but my kids love it. They also love their #PS4 and the #VR headset. We all agree that Knightmare would translate to VR excellently. The Dungeoneer would wear the VR Headset of Justice and see a limited view of the world. The Team would watch on a screen and see a different view.

Does anything like this exist? We know about Keep Talking, and we've enjoyed the mini games like Cat & Mouse that came preinstalled. But is there anything with a more fantasy adventure #RPG feel?
See https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/standupmaths/moon-pi-were-going-to-calculate-on-the-moon Stand-up mathematician Matt Parker has a thing about calculating the value of 'pi' in unusual and, some may say, very odd ways. This is his most ambitious yet: he is going to use the randomness of a lunar rover's sensor measurements to calculate pi. And I'm supporting his project!
This means that MY NAME WILL BE IN A TEXT FILE ON THE MOON, taking part in the calculation 🤣
Let's face it, this won't be the least geeky thing I've ever done 😉
I'm going to calculate π on the Moon! And you can join in. Get your own Lunar Pi. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/standupmaths/moon-pi-were-going-to-calculate-on-the-moon
