I love talking about tech, debating politics, and eating nachos. Not necessarily in that order.

Well, holy fucking shit

Google adding interoperability between Quick Share and AirDrop is huge.

I'm just shocked that they essentially hacked their way in and are just rolling with it. I feel like Apple would want to shut this down right away, like they did with Beeper a few years back.

I really wish more game developers would do this for console games: 1) enable the use of mouse and keyboard for their game, and 2) have crossplay be input-based, not platform-based.

This would especially be useful in games like ARC Raiders as menu management on a controller is hell.

A nice light snowfall followed by sunny skies. I like this kind of winter.
I have to say, I really miss Google Stadia. Being able to play on any screen (TV, laptop, tablet, phone) was such a great feature and the tech was so ahead of its time. It's a shame Google pulled the plug on it so early.
I love seeing this message in the Google Meet app - it was first September 2025, then they changed it to October 2025, now they changed it again to January 2026. We'll see if they have to change it again!
So when is Google Messages and iOS going to get end to end encrypted RCS?

I recently switched the power button gesture from the Power menu to Gemini on my Pixel, and I like it.

But I don't know why they can't combine these actions? Hold the power button for 1 second, it brings up Gemini. Hold it for 3 seconds, it cancels Gemini and brings up the Power menu.

I'm glad that Samsung and Google are launching a cheaper VR/AR headset than the Vision Pro, but I still suspect even their version will be collecting dust on a shelf next to the Apple one after a month
My work iPhone upgraded to iOS 26 and my god Liquid Glass is absolutely horrible
