I have a new laptop case! This means I get to adorn it with a fresh batch of stickers from my archive!!! 😁
I've got my own Mastodon server, and I've had one for a while now; I'm just unsure when to make the jump across to it. It's not accepting signup at the moment before anyone asks. Who else is on their own tiny server?
I'm pretty sure Mastodon is the first social network I've been on that didn't immediately ask me to betray all of the people in my address book.

Another artist trading card! It's an incredible piece of art, but look at the detail on the armour; that's a whole other level! The artist is George Patsouras, and the card number is 203.

Question! Who or what inspired you to become an illustrator?

If you're not seeing many updates from me at the moment, it's because I'm super busy. Case in point, I did a portfolio earlier and had a nice chat with the wonderful illustrator in question. Straight after that, I had a big job come in that I'll be recommending illustrators for in the morning. This isn't even to mention all the other tasks and coding work I've been doing today. I'm surprised I squeezed in this short update!
So, it has been a few weeks since I posted on my personal social media profiles. I've been working every hour under the sun, so something needed to give, and social media for my quips and food photos seemed like that "something" I could cut from my schedule. I'm not back and won't be for a few weeks, but I wanted to share this screenshot of some of the live portfolio reviews I've done over the last couple of years as an excuse to show off two years' worth of exquisite beard growth. 😂

The colours, the composition, and especially that starry sky - this cover art by Marine Borocco for Siren’s Call, written by T.J.J. Klamvik, is amazing!

Some people believe there's no purpose to "liking" something on Mastodon since it doesn't affect any algorithm.

Not the case.

It does something incredibly valuable: it acknowledges people.

Which is incredibly powerful, and is all the more important *because* it's not connected to gaming any algorithm.

By liking something on Mastodon, you are doing it honestly -- without any agenda at play other than that you like it.

So go ahead. Click that like button for its own sake.

Happy new week, folks! We hope your weekend was wonderful and that you have a fantastic week ahead ❤️
