This Mastodon moment is interesting in more than one way, it's the return of the Cathedral Vs Bazaar debate in real time
I knew Linux so I had opportunities that others didn’t. I am very fortunate that I learned Linux sooner in life rather than later.

👀 Je continue de lire des trucs sur SBF et FTX
🙄 Avec les biais rétrospectifs associés, bien sûr.

The campaign of opinion against mastodon, is my faith interesting: yes it is not "amusing" (what criteria? the beauferies of Facebook or Twitter)? Not secure: when you have to digest more than 1M registrations, it goes after, as for compliance with the RGPD. Mastodon is to Twitter, what GNU/Linux is to Microsoft Windows: a bazaar, transformed into a cathedral and decentralized chapels / That non-geeks adapt. On those, have a nice weekend
Well, there is a #machinelearning community that appears and it's cool

100 Mastodon myths:

1. Mastodon is hard.

FALSE. It’s a "soft"ware. Not hardware.

2. You have to use Linux to post on Mastodon.

FALSE. FreeBSD and OpenBSD are also supported.

3. You need to learn to use the Vim editor before posting on Mastodon.

FALSE. There’s also an emacs plugin.

4. Mastodon is only for computer nerds.

FALSE. As you can see, we sometimes try to make jokes that everyone could understand.
