NinaWas asked about how I did the watercolor effect, so I thought I might as well write about it.
I did a base layer without the colors, but added in the light purple for the "water" pooling areas that I already knew were going to interact with the blues.
I made a layer of blues and purple, kinda random kinda not, to mimic those areas where colors pool differently and pull in different colors. I set it to Darken at 89% opacity. I then got an image with like 36 colors? So I merged some to get 30.
#SonicMania is available on iOS if you have a Netflix subscription and it slaps. Works with controllers too so if you’ve got a Backbone it’s perfect.

Look, all I really want right now is a Star Wars video game that’s basically Diablo III or IV. Just the whole loot-chaser gameplay loop with an isometric camera, but instead of demons and despair it’s the galaxy far far away, with AAA production values. I love everything about D3 and D4 but the setting is a total bummer.

I wonder if Dawntrail will feature ultrawide cutscenes, but I totally understand that framing for an aspect ratio is a big part of the cinematography. #FFXIV
