Archetyp, one of the the darknet's largest drug cryptomarkets, is suddenly offline with its users racing to find alternatives. It is not yet clear if this is an exit scam, law enforcement action, or actual maintenance.
Warning: Cloudflare is incorrectly labeling our anti-phishing safety resource dark.fail as a phishing site, because a phisher filed a false abuse report. Happy CF customers since 2019, they will fix.

Extortion is the new exit scam. The #1 darknet drug market took all of its users' money days ago. Now its admin Pharoah is demanding that each seller pay a ransom of up to $20k or he will turn their data over to the police.
We'll see how this plays out for him.
