When I was little, I used to spend a lot of time alone and talk to imaginary friends. People thought I was weird and my brother made fun of me well into adulthood about it. Oddly for a long time I preferred my "imaginary" friends over real people many times.

Looking back and looking at my current worldview and spiritual experiences, I now wonder if these were spirits I was talking to all that time and just closed that part of myself off as I got older.
