What fascinates me again and again when I share my photos is how your reactions change the way I see them.

Whenever someone likes a picture I often catch myself looking at it again. But this time, through someone else’s eyes. It’s a bit like showing a friend around your hometown and suddenly seeing it as if for the first time.

That shift of perspective makes me look at my own work differently, maybe more objectively, or simply more curiously. I like that feeling. ☺️

Unfortunately, I can’t summon it at will. I need the small reminder that someone else’s mind has passed through the image and felt something. Only then can I look at my photo with fresh eyes.

The mind really is a strange thing.
