Yikes, of all the signals that post-Elon twitter is flailing, I think shutting off access to its API with just 7 DAYS notice (and with no pricing plan to announce!) has to be one of the most devastating and bizarre. Whatever the free API costs to maintain, it can't be worth alienating all the devs and creators who have used it to voluntarily build useful features (inc. accessibility aids such as auto-subtitles and alt text) and bring joy to Twitter
