I work IT Comms at NASA and drive a hippy bus to music festivals. Always trying to learn and have a good time.

God of War: Ragnarok is kind of a miracle of a game.

It has a length that makes it feel like an old school epic like Lawrence of Arabia, but it doesn't feel like a slog.

It makes ancient legendary characters feel modern and relatable without having them feel inauthentic or cheesy.

It keeps adding features and functionality without making the mechanics feel overly complicated.

It's not just game of the year for me, it's game of the decade so far.

The more I think about it, the more I love Avatar: The Way of Water. There’s so many multilayered themes and ideas that really stick with you and leave you marinating on it.

One of the biggest for me is Spider. Both his biological dad and adoptive dad left humanity behind. He doesn’t even really identify as human that much.

The “grown ups” kind of deride him on either side, but the Sully kids still totally love him and accept him.

I saw Avatar: The Way of Water last night and mostly loved it!

The best thing about it to me was that it was a “family movie” without being a family movie. It didn’t tone anything down, it just was about a blended family doing best by one another.

The 3D didn’t seem like as big as a leap as the first one brought, but was still pretty cool. As far as big holiday movies go, it’s going to wow plenty enough.

One last plug for some of my work:

My wife and I host a podcast with a rotating cast of friends about live music, music festivals, and the community around it. (Yet another way @leo influenced me!)

It's mostly around the Bonnaroo music festival, but if any of that stuff is up your alley, we'd appreciate your listen.

Another fun piece of me to share with the community. Back in 2020 when things shut down, my hobby that I picked up was live mixing EDM music. My sister gave me the stage name "CatLo" as a joke, but I decided to keep it.

After a few streamed shows and some garage raves, I played two shows at Bonnaroo this past year and also have a big NYE show coming up next month too.

This photo of me is from back around 2019 when the SLS rocket in #Artemis1 was in testing.

This is the test article of the fuel tank that was set up on the stand at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsille, AL. Engineers kept applying pressure to it until it finally broke, verifying it could stand up to the pressure of launch and then some.

Thanks to all of their awesome work for many years, Orion is now in orbit around the Moon this morning!

Just a moment ago, the Orion capsule passed around 1,400 miles or so above the original Apollo 11 landing site!

This is the first time in almost fifty years that a craft capable of having a human along for the ride has made it this close to the Moon.

We're back to stay this time baby.

I'm flattered to see so many followers already!

Here's a quick introduction to my side hobby, my wife and I drive the "Bonnaroo Bus" to the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee every year. It's a long-standing tradition and has been signed by Flea from RHCP, Chance the Rapper and many other musicians you probably know.

Every year we host Bonnaroo's first show to welcome up to 80,000 people there, this year we had the Indie Rock band Flipturn.

Let's talk the #Artemis1 mission!

Today, the human-rated Orion spacecraft entered into the lunar sphere of influence. The Moon is now the main source of gravity influence on the craft instead of the Earth.

It's soon entering a distant retrograde orbit of the Moon and will make its closest approach at around 80 miles above the lunar surface. The closest approach will be just before 8AM EST on Monday, 11/21.
