The book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released in 2007, but Harry was 17, in it, he was born in 1980, so it MUST BE set in 1997… is Harry Potter a period drama?

Do any readers have a strong opinions on Affinity? I have the last version that was stand-alone, but I also have the more recent all-in-one version. Is it still worth keeping hold of the older versions? (On Mac, new Affinity is not out on iPad yet.) Or, is there some other awesome option?
