Hey, twitter looks down. Good thing we've got mastodon as a backup. Except only one person is active in my timeline, and that's @munin

@bigendiansmalls WHAT DO YOU MEAN DO I REMEMBER? I'M STILL HERE.

I wish more people were, because I do genuinely like this more. But then again, if twitter raised char count cap then I'd be just as in-favor of it as I am this.

I was thinking about a content auto expire feature for mastodon, and I would love people's feedback https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/issues/1295
@munin @da_667 @Technogen See, after seeing that skytalk I knew you'd have a feasible blueteam solution :)
@munin @da_667 @Technogen It's one of the most interesting things I see potentially facing this platform if it grows to be quite popular. It's a lot harder to stop abuse when anyone can jump in even after banned. It'd probably only take a weekend to have a docker image of this that anyone could quickly spin up whenever their instance gets banned.
@Technogen @munin @da_667 All I'm saying is that with spider-like powers comes great responsibility, unfortunately.
@da_667 @munin @Technogen Get banned for being a dick to users? Roll your own. Automagic federation. Dynamic ephemeral webscale shitposting instances in order to enhance the customer experience by facilitating authentic conversations.

I wrote another thing. This time about the effects of deleting tweets, including why I delete tweets.

@thegrugq I'm near the end of your TROOPERS talk, you answer a question by suggesting USA needs to be more ready to admit that they do the cyber instead of focusing on ghosting. Do you mean this primarily in a retrospective sense, where they acknowledge the cyber once caught?
