Special treat for me, never expected I would have the opportunity to see Nausicaä on the big screen, but did earlier tonight.
Tree across Edinburg Road In Argyle Township I met on my way home yesterday evening. Neighbors came together to clear enough branches on one side of the road to make it passable. DOT was present and gave the go-ahead, but with so much damage across the state who knows when any official manpower will be available to clear it fullly. To give a sense of scale here, once branches were cleared, we could drive UNDER the top of the tree. #maine

🍪 On today's date in 1913, the National Biscuit Co. (Nabisco) registered the brand "Oreo", an innovative cookie that it had launched the previous year, and which was described as a two-wafer sandwich with chocolate flavor, with creamy filling.

Anyone familiar enough with both chinese and English, I'm curious if you have a sense of how sentences like this in english are generated by companies in China? Do they use something like Google Translate (maybe it made more sense in chinese?) Or does someone who claims to grasp english pull one over on the company when offering translation services? Or does someone there think this makes perfect sense in english?
Feathery fractal-ish frost on the hood of my truck this morning. Nature is full of beauty that is easy to miss.
