Getting started on Mastodon, I'm reminded of a Twitter I had forgotten, one with deeper connection. It has been on a slow descent into briefer, more trivial, and more acerbic interactions that have landed us to where we are today.

Twitter has become the actions it rewards. The new ownership was almost the inevitable next step!
