But I ended it. If I want others to read it, I'm gonna have to rewrite, clean things up, etc.. But the thing is, not that I've got a conclusion, it's no longer bouncing around in my head. For the first time in fifteen years.

It's going to be a couple years before I go back and do a second draft, if I ever do. Right now, I'm just happy to be free of it. 3/3

So, a couple days ago, I was surfing YouTube and came across a video talking about ChatGPT prompts to use to help you write a story. I tried it out.

It helped me come up with a cohesive plot. The last several scenes were a freeform conversation back and forth. Most importantly of all, I was able to find an ending. The result was a rough first draft. It is nowhere near any shape to be read. Not really. 2/3

Weird feeling right now. About twenty years ago, I wrote a short fantasy story called "Intervention." It was okay (I revisited it recently). A couple years later, I got an idea for a sequel to it. I wrote and rewrote a couple different scenes, but never finished a draft. I had a vague idea of where I wanted the story to go, but couldn't seem to tie it all together. I would revisit it every couple of months. Long story short, the dang thing has been living rent-free in my head for 15 YEARS. 1/3
