Accidentally engaged in moderate retail therapy today, but also got Christmas shopping for the niblings done. So… win?

Looking forward to crashing at my parents house this weekend and going through their kitchen to throw out anything edible predating the births of their grandchildren 🤪

The thing I keep forgetting about mastodon is you can set the visibility of each post individually, which almost negates the purpose of having a locked-account and a public-account. Mixed feelings about this! It’s good overall as it simplifies things, and reduces duplication for my contacts who might follow both, but after spending 20 years keeping multiple accounts, it’s weird.
