Really cool explanation about the trade offs in the design of the turbo, the role of the MGU-H, how it favored bigger turbos, and now that it’s gone, why a smaller turbo might be the better choice.

I always think wistfully at the 2017 and 2018 f1 seasons. If only somethings would’ve been different…

I’m surprised FIA pushed McLaren to change their rear wing. I would assume FIA would take the same stance they took vis-a-vis McLaren’s front wing. Still, I think this will make the MCL38 slower on the straights without DRS, and that’s about it.
